Its continued success is impressive considering how A Grand Day Out originally began life as a university project, before the Bristol stop-motion studio Aardman Animations noticed the short's potential, and hired its producer Nick Park to finish the piece. Wallace & Gromit is set to return for their latest escapade, Vengeance Most Fowl. Vengeance Most Fowl sees them take on another new business. In their upcoming movie, Wallace And Gromit will be unleashing their Gnome Improvements operations.

Wallace and Gromit's Gnome Improvement business is a major undertaking for the duo. It shows them installing smart gnomes throughout West Wallaby Street. Their motto sparks confidence in the town's residents, declaring that "no job" is too small for their gnomes. The promotional image shows Gromit packing gardening equipment into the back of the van, implying that their improvement service involves helping with maintaining their neighbors' gardens.

3 Wallace's Latest Invention Is Norbot

Gromit is noticeably unimpressed, especially when Wallace reassures him that Norbot is operated through voice control, despite Gromit being unable to speak.

Voiced by Reece Shearsmith, Norbot is extremely efficient at performing any task that Wallace throws his way. He is most equipped to deal with gardening jobs, referred to as "gnome improvements" by Wallace. Norbot inspires Wallace to create other smart gnomes, which he uses for his Gnome Improvements service to help his neighbors with their garden needs.

2 Feathers McGraw Finally Makes His Return

Aardman Animations has produced a few of the best stop-motion films, including Wallace And Gromit: The Wrong Trousers. This classic Wallace And Gromit short introduced the villainous Feathers McGraw, who seizes control of the techno trousers to steal a diamond from the local museum. Wallace's deceitful lodger is thwarted by Wallace and Gromit by the end of the short, in the fantastic model railway chase sequence. Although Feathers McGraw made an unexpected cameo in Chicken Run: Dawn Of The Nugget, the last time he was seen in Wallace And Gromit was in The Wrong Trousers, where he was imprisoned in the zoo for his attempted burglary. Vengeance Most Fowl is Feathers McGraw's long-awaited return.

According to Nick Park, Feathers McGraw had been in prison for "30 years" before completing his sentence and being set free. Vengeance Most Fowl follows his grand master plan, taking control of West Wallaby Street's smart gnomes to exact his revenge. The movie's trailer reveals that Feathers McGraw uses the smart gnomes to go on a crime spree across Wallace and Gromit's neighborhood.

This results in Wallace being framed for Feathers McGraw's heinous actions. Vengeance Most Fowl's recent trailer shows Wallace being ambushed at his own home by a news reporter, who labels him an "evil inventor." Similarly to The Wrong Trousers, the film will show the devastating consequences of Wallace's inventions when they fall into the wrong hands. While Wallace means well by creating these fancy contraptions, they can be abused for nefarious purposes. Feathers McGraw's previous use of the techno trousers for the museum heist demonstrates that he possesses the technical knowledge required to adapt Wallace's work for his own criminal goals.

The Vengeance Most Fowl teaser also displays where Feathers McGraw will be conducting his take-over of West Wallaby Street's smart gnomes. His crime spree is conducted from inside a church, while he stares menacingly at a newspaper clipping regarding Wallace and Gromit foiling his diamond robbery. Feathers McGraw also showcases some serious musical talent, when he plays the church's organ. It suggests that Feathers McGraw may also hold a passion for music in Vengeance Most Fowl.

1 Iconic Favorites Return

Alongside Feathers McGraw, Wallace And Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl will also include iconic favorite locations and vehicles from the series' history. The most notable return is the motorbike and sidecar from A Close Shave. This famous choice of transportation was initially utilized for Wallace And Gromit's Wash n' Go Window Cleaning Service. In Vengeance Most Fowl's trailer, it appears to be commandeered by Gromit for an action-packed chase sequence across West Wallaby Street.

The zoo featured during The Wrong Trousers' conclusion is also glimpsed in the Vengeance Most Fowl teaser. This is the same zoo where Feathers McGraw was held in custody in his villainous debut. Gromit visits the zoo armed with a net, possibly hoping to catch Feathers McGraw when he is released from prison. Wallace's loyal dog is shown wearing a helmet during this sequence, implying that this may come after the sidecar chase in Vengeance Most Fowl.

Finally, the Gnome Improvements van may also hold some important Wallace & Gromit history. The pair have previously driven vans for their pest control and baking businesses, in Curse Of The Were-Rabbit and A Matter Of Loaf And Death respectively. It seems likely, therefore, that the Gnome Improvements automobile is the same van from the previous entries, repurposed. This could open the door to callbacks from Curse Of The Were-Rabbit and A Matter Of Loaf And Death, like the Anti-Presto grabbing tools and the bakery produce from Top Bun.

Sadly, one element from Wallace & Gromit's past who won't be returning is the series' longtime composer, Julian Nott. Instead, Lorne Balfe composed the music for Vengeance Most Fowl. She has an illustrative career in producing soundtracks for family films. Her past work includes soundtracks to Megamind - which has provided many unforgettable quotes - and Penguins Of Madagascar. One key aspect of Julian Notts' work will remain, however. Her much-loved Wallace & Gromit theme will be returning, as revealed by Aardman Animations in their original teaser for Vengeance Most Fowl.
