Really Good Seasoned Pretzels
This Really Good Seasoned Pretzels recipe comes from my brother’s wife, Missy. This is why I referred to them as Missy’s Seasoned Pretzels above. My brother Jason and Missy have a really awesome hangout space known as The Doghouse. They are typically entertaining someone, so Missy always likes to have snacks available for her guests. These Seasoned Pretzels are a staple on the snack list.
When I was visiting their house a few weeks ago, I found myself unable to stop eating these delicious little nuggets. This prompted me to ask her for the recipe so I could share it with all of you. She was more than happy to oblige. Thanks, Missy!
As you might know, I have a few recipes on my site that I title “Really Good…” While I hope that all the recipes I post are really good, I use the term “really good” in posts like this one to imply “the best”.
Why? Well, I feel like “The Best” is a big old generalized statement that’s used a lot these days just to get people to click on something. So over here on IBC we’ll stick to “Really Good.”
And now, why are these pretzels really good? For a few reasons …
First, I love the larger pretzel size. Typically I’m not a fan of these on their own, but when covered with a delicious seasoning blend they are pretty amazing.
Second, the delicious seasoning blend on these pretzels is a winner. It needs nothing more and nothing less. It’s a really tasty combo!
So if you’re looking for a new seasoned pretzel recipe to try and love, give this one a go!
Side note: In these photos, I’m making a double batch of this recipe. If you’re looking for the same yield, be sure to double the recipe below.
How to Make Seasoned Pretzels:
Begin by preheating your oven to 250 degrees F.
In a small pitcher, whisk together the vegetable oil, dry ranch seasoning, cayenne pepper, and dill. A detailed ingredient list and recipe instructions are provided in a printable recipe card below.
Add the broken pretzel pieces to a large bowl and pour on the prepared seasoning and toss to evenly coat.
Spread out the pretzels onto a large baking sheet. Place into the oven for 30 minutes stirring twice during the baking process.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Store in an air-tight container or resealable bags.
That’s it, friends! As you can see, this recipe comes together in no time whatsoever. These pretzels are ready for some Netflix and snacking!
I also wanted to mention that the cayenne pepper in this recipe makes these moderately spicy. You can add more or less cayenne pepper depending on your preferred spice level. Adjust to your liking.
And that’s a wrap. I hope you enjoyed another family recipe from mine to yours. Happy snacking!
