The Interactive Network (iN) is American Honda’s Web-based Dealer/Distributor Communication System. It is a portal connecting AHM Mainframe/Midrange/Cloud backend application systems, iN front-end applications, and external Websites to dealers over the Internet. The iN portal is deployed to Automobile, Acura, Motorcycle, Power Equipment, Marine, Engine, Export Distributor (LAC), Honda Canada, and Honda de Mexico. The Sr. Applications Engineer is responsible for identification and selection of appropriate services based on requirements and constraints, he/she has deep subject matter expertise, and can evaluate new technologies that fit in current application architecture. The positions need to maintain in-depth knowledge of company’s strategic business plans and provide solutions using cutting-edge technologies. Also has in-depth knowledge of company’s existing IT architecture/application solutions and technology portfolio.
