True Crime Shows Like Under the Bridge
Hulu’s newest series, Under the Bridge, which premiered with the first 2 episodes last Wednesday, April 17th, is based on acclaimed author Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the 1997 true crime story of fourteen-year old Reena Virk who went to a party and never returned home. Through the eyes of Godfrey (Riley Keough) and a local police officer, the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.
The series was adapted for screen by Quinn Shephard (Not Okay)and stars Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon), Vritika Gupta (Cross Hollow), Riley Keough (), Chloe Guidry (The Last Tycoon), Javon “Wanna” Walton (Euphoria), Izzy G.
